Style and Substance is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products.  We endeavor to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. 

In the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfill your order we will notify as soon as possible to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund for that particular item.


When you're finished shopping, click "Checkout" from the "My Bag" page to place your order. All of the items in your shopping bag appear in your order during checkout. If you don't want to order all of the items, simply edit your shopping bag before proceeding to checkout. During checkout, you will be asked to provide:

Your e-mail address and password, for security purposes.

Your credit card billing address.

The address you want to ship to.

Your preferred shipping method

Any promotional codes you have received.

Your credit card type, 16 digit card number, 3 or 4-digit CV2 number and expiration date.


The sky is now the limit for all your wardrobe needs, but please, ensure that you refer to our detailed size chart purchasing, as all special order purchases are final, and there is no refund or exchange on pre order items.

If you require a tape measure we will gladly send one for a small fee of $5.00, that we will deduct from your special order purchase.

In the unlikely event that item you have purchased is no longer available, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund of the net garment price


The "final review" page lists your order information and gives you a last chance to make any changes. Your order will not be placed and your credit card will not be charged if you do not click "submit order."


When you enter your credit card information and click "submit order" on the final review page, we'll give you an order confirmation number. You will also receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been received. We will send you another e-mail to notify you when your order has been shipped and that we've charged your credit card.

If you'd like to cancel or change your order, please call +61 2 8777 6006 as soon as possible. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request. But please bear in mind that our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on the way quickly and efficiently. Note that we cannot change or cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process.


At this time you can only ship to one address each time you checkout. If you are shopping for people at different addresses, you will need to place each order separately.


Style and Substance accepts the following types of payment:

Electronic Bank Transfer


If you are paying with e-check and ordering expedited shipping, please be aware that your order will be shipped only after the payment has been cleared. This may take up to 7 calendar days.


All you need to do is select the items you wish to purchase and then at check out, select the "Direct Deposit" option. We ask that you make a deposit within 7 days of placing your order of 10% or more and we ask that you make regular payments (by direct deposit) over a period of no more than 3 months (12 weeks).


Occasionally when you receive a special offer for purchases at Style and Substance, you will also receive a promotional code to use. This code lets us know that the special offer should be applied to your order.

Using the code is easy. Just shop as you normally would. When you are ready to purchase, on the "My Bag" page, remember to enter your promotional code in the space provided in the "Discount Codes" section of the page. Once you have entered the promotional code and pressed "Apply Coupon", you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order. If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, there will be an error message to let you know how to correct the problem before you can continue to check out.


If you pay for your order with a credit card on the web site, your credit card will be charged immediately. We use eWay payment facility which means that your credit card details are not stored on our website or office systems at any time.

If you pay for your order with a Style and Substance Gift Certificate or Gift eCard, we will process your Gift Certificate or Gift eCard as soon as you place your order. In this case, if you choose to cancel an item that is "on order," we refund the Gift Certificate or Gift eCard to cover the cost of the item including any applicable taxes and promotions.
